“Phakamisa” is a word that means ‘to lift up’, and it perfectly embodies our commitment to empowerment. This philosophy is the driving force behind our initiatives, from our genuine commitment to transformation in South Africa to our investment in the personal and professional growth of our people.
We believe that by empowering our teams and operating with purpose, we can create meaningful opportunities that extend to families and the communities we serve.
This Mandela Day, we had the privilege of spreading warmth and compassion by donating blankets to three incredible institutions: Leamogetswe Safety Home, Kokosi Community, and Ganala Community.
In the spirit of Madiba’s legacy, we’re reminded that even the smallest act of kindness can make a lasting difference. Thank you to everyone who contributed to bringing comfort and care to those in need this winter. Together, we continue to live the values of service, unity, and hope.
Every year, our Quatro family looks forward to giving back in a special way — by sending a dedicated team of cleaning specialists to CHOC House, part of the Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa. This annual deep clean and sanitising service is our way of supporting the incredible children and families who call CHOC House their temporary home while undergoing treatment. Our team takes great pride in ensuring the facility is spotless, safe, and filled with care.
CHOC is a non-profit that provides essential support to families facing childhood cancer. Being able to contribute to such a meaningful cause is an honour — and a reminder that what we do every day truly makes a difference.
The principles of Phakamisa extend beyond our direct business operations. We are “deeply committed to making a difference in the communities we serve”. By fostering a positive work environment and providing stable, meaningful career opportunities, we believe we can enrich the lives of our employees.
